How to confirm your account
Confirm your account by clicking on a link provided in an email with the subject line 'Verify Your Email' from the community email. A confirmation of your registration via email is sent right after you sign-up for a new account on the Smiley homepage. In this confirmation email, there will be a 'Confirm Account' button where you can click and get started on setting up your account. Here is what the confirmation email looks like:

Spam or Junk Filters
The most common reason for not receiving the verification email is that it may have been delivered to your junk or spam folder.
To resolve this issue, check your junk or spam folder to see if the confirmation email has been miscategorized. If you locate it there, move the email to your inbox.
Email Delivery Delivery
Depending on how much traffic we are seeing, sometimes the emails to verify your email may be queued. Sometimes, the system might take up to 24 hours to deliver the email. The system will always try again to send the emails out if any issues occur.
Blocked by Email Provider
Some email providers may block emails from specific domains or IP addresses if they suspect spam or phishing. You may have to mark our email address as safe or you may have to reach out to your provider to allow our domain(s).
Mistyped email address
It's possible that your email address may have been mistyped. If this might be the case, we will be able to see if your email exists in the system, and if not, you will be able to sign up again. If you would like us to check, please reach out to the community email. You can find this out at the bottom of the community page under the heading Contact Us.
Overloaded Inbox or Full Email Quota
If your inbox is full or exceeded its storage limit, incoming emails may not be delivered even when you clear them. If this might be the case, go to the section: I am unable to find my 'Verify Your Email, what now?

Classed as Spam or Junk
The most common reason for not being able to click on the 'Confirm Account' is if the email is in the spam or junk folder. When emails are placed in these folders, certain email providers may disable links and buttons within the message as a security precaution.
To resolve this issue, check your junk or spam folder to see if the confirmation email has been miscategorized. If you locate it there, move the email to your inbox.
Technical Restrictions
Some email providers block interactive elements such as links or links embedded in a button like our 'Confirm Account' for security reasons. This is very common for workplace emails or with certain security platforms. You may need to work with them to get the ability to click certain buttons. You may be able to right-click to copy the link and use it this way.
Network or VPN
Corporate networks or VPNs may block access to external links or certain web resources referenced in the email. This could stop you from being able to click on the 'Confirm Account'. Again, you may need to work with them to get the ability to click certain buttons.
Button Rendered as an Image
The "Confirm Account" button might be displayed as an image rather than a clickable element. If your email client blocks images by default, the button may not function until you enable images for that email.
Disable Javascript
Some email clients or browsers block JavaScript, which may be necessary for the functionality of the "Confirm Account" button. You may be able to go into your settings to allow them.
Outdated Email Client App or Browser
If you're using an outdated email client or browser to view the email, the "Confirm Account" button may not display or function correctly.
Ad Blockers or Security Extensions
Browser extensions like ad blockers or email security tools may mistakenly block the "Confirm Account" button, preventing it from functioning properly. You may need to switch this off and refresh your browser.
I am unable to find my 'Verify Your Email, what now?
If you still don't receive the 'Password Reset' email, please reach out to the community email and we will be able to confirm a few more details for you. You can find this email address at the bottom of the community page under the heading Contact Us.
